Email Migration Notifications

WHAT HAPPENED?
The OIT ECC team has begun contacting users who still have Zimbra mailboxes, notifying them of the impending migration to Office 365, and of what steps to take pre- and post-migration.  They mistakenly included a small number of CoC faculty and staff who were already migrated to Office 365 (active CoC faculty and staff were migrated in November of 2015).  A copy of the notification can be seen below.

Office 365 Email Clutter Service Change

WHAT'S HAPPENING?
OIT will turn off the Office 365 Email Clutter feature on existing mailboxes.  It will also be turned off by default for all new mailboxes going forward.
 
 
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The change will be made at the end of February, 2016.
 
 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Any Office 365 Email account holder currently using the Clutter feature.

Office 365 Expiration Notices

WHAT'S HAPPENING?
OIT has enacted an automated process to de-provision Office 365 services for former employees and students.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The process went into production on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
Students that have not been enrolled for 1 semester and 14 days and former employees who have recently ended their employment.  Affected users will begin receiving notifications as to when they will lose access.  These notifications should begin 30 days before services are de-provisioned.
