Beginning at 5:00 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2009, TSO will migrate the redundant NIS server yp2.cc.gatech.edu to new hardware. Due to the redundancy, no users should be affected by the NIS service move, which is expected to be completed by 5:30 PM, March 12. However, NTP services are not being migrated. Users who use yp2 for NTP should instead point to ntp1.gatech.edu or ntp2.gatech.edu.
