To provide disk space relief for neotrantor.cc.gatech.edu's home directory file systems, several legacy GVU Center research-related directories were relocated to gvu1.cc.gatech.edu. In this process, 12 older GVU file systems were inadvertently deactivated, which affected 81 user account home directories. The file systems were unavailable from approximately 11:00 AM, Friday, May 23, 2008 until approximately 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 27, 2008. The affected user accounts were unable to login during this period. The affected users are being notified individually.
