At approximately 4:25 PM, Wednesday, October 1, 2008, several servers lost power in the CoC machine room. This affected CoC faculty, staff, and students. Electricians working in the CCB were powering off unused power circuits and inadvertently powered off a used circuit. TSO received notification from our nagios monitoring system and, working with the electricians, quickly got power restored and the servers restarted. Most were down for less than 10 minutes, and all servers were again providing services by 4:55 PM, October 1.
