At 6:30 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2008, power maintenance is being performed in the datacenter that houses the CC Exchange, BES, and SharePoint servers. While these services will remain online, they will be unavailable as there will be a brief network downtime while the networking switches are moved over to building generator power. All services are expected to be back online by 6:45 PM, August 14. During the networking downtime, Exchange email, calendaring, and contact information will be unavailable. SharePoint services will likewise be unavailable. CC BlackBerries will continue to be able to make and receive phone calls but will not have access to CC email, calendaring, or contacts. Any email received during this time will be queued and delivered once the datacenter's networking is restored.
