Beginning at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, TSO will transfer the filemaker pro databases from the server ackerman.cc.gatech.edu, which provides services as ccdb.cc.gatech.edu, to a temporary server. This is necessary so that ackerman can be rebuilt. After the databases have been migrated, the cname ccdb.cc.gatech.edu will be pointed to the temporary server, so users can continue to use that name to access their databases. This migration is expected to be completed by 8:00 PM. During the maintenance period, the following CC faculty/staff databases will be unavailable:

CCB Key Inventory
Faculty & Staff
Old CoC Key Inventory
Sick Hours
TSO-specific databases

Update: the transfer did not go as planned, so the databases were reverted back to the original server. This will be rescheduled for a later date and announced at that time.
