WHAT HAPPENED?
There was a partial network outage on the first floor of the College of Computing Building.
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
The outage was first reported at 8:25am. Networking was restored at 10:25am.
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The Cisco switch serving the south side of the 1st floor of CCB lost partial power, causing two of the four ethernet blades to shutdown. We moved the power cable to a different power outlet in the room and the switch was rebooted, restoring full connectivity. TSO is monitoring to see if there are any further issues.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Some users on the first floor may have experienced networking issues.
