WHAT HAPPENED?
Wired network connectivity was inoperable.
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
December 18th, 2018 from 6am - 11:30am
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
When power went out in CCB, a manual failover of the networking for TSRB to KACB was required. Unfortunatly, the link to TSRB was not complete and had a bad fiber cable that needed to be replaced. OIT assisted our networking team in replacing the bad fiber cable, and networking was restored at 11:30am.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users trying to use wired networking in TSRB who were unable to switch to wireless.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required - if networking doesn't recover, try disconnecting the ethernet cable or rebooting the machine.
