WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Computers bound to the CoC Active Directory (CCAD) will be migrated to the main GT Active Directory (GTAD).


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Beginning Wednesday, May 3, 2017, and ongoing until all hosts are migrated.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To improve the security posture of the College of Computing, to reduce duplication of commoditized services, and to unify user account login.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty and staff using CCAD-bound computers.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
TSO will reach out to affected users to schedule a migration date and time.  Prior to that date, affected users should move any local documents and desktop items to their CoC network home directory, GT OneDrive instance, or GT Dropbox instance.  The migration will require some manual intervention by TSO Help Desk staff, so please be patient as we work through the process on a per-machine basis.
