Loss of power to several campus buildings, which resulted in several CoC servers being offline.

 
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
From approximately 4:00 AM until 4:05 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2017.

 
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
A Georgia Power transformer failed, which initiated a power fail over.

 
WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Users of the following servers.

aspidiske
bear
grizzly
stream2

Users in the following buildings.

CCB
KACB
 
 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.

 
HAS THE ISSUE BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.  Power was restored within minutes.  The affected servers returned to service at 9:05 AM, Monday, April 10, 2017, except for aspidiske, which returned to service at 10:30 AM.
