specific time periods between July 1 and July 7, 2009.
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
JULY 1-2, 2009 11:00PM . 1:00AM
JULY 6-7, 2009 11:00PM . 1:00AM
WHO IS AFFECTED BY THIS INTERRUPTION?
. Users of My GaTech/Zimbra services, including BuzzPortusers who might
try to access their email or any group or coursecalendars during this
time.
Effects to these users are:
. Users of My GaTech/Zimbra will be unable to accesstheir My
GaTech/Zimbra email, calendar, or contacts during thesetime periods.
. People who send e-mail to users of My GaTech/Zimbra mayreceive a mail
delivery delayed message.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO WHEN THE SYSTEM IS AVAILABLEAGAIN?
Business as usual. Mail sent to My GaTech/Zimbra usersduring the period
of this outage will be queued in the central systems anddelivered after
the system is in operation again.
HOW DOES THIS ACTIVITY BENEFIT YOU?
OIT is performing work to enhance the redundancy of ourcurrent e-mail
system.
