OIT will replace a failed component in the MyGaTechStorage Area
Network (SAN).
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
This Maintenance will occur in one of our planned outagewindows,
Thursday 6/18 5:00am - 7:00am
WHO IS AFFECTED BY THIS INTERRUPTION?
All users of the MyGaTech e-mail, calendar and contactssystem.
BuzzPort users who might try to access their email or anygroup
or course calendars during this time.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO WHEN THE SYSTEM IS AVAILABLEAGAIN?
Business as usual. Mail sent to MyGaTech users during theperiod
of this outage will be queued in the central systems anddelivered
after the system is in operation again.
HOW DOES THIS ACTIVITY BENEFIT YOU?
OIT is performing this work to replace the failedhardware so
that production reliability can be maintained.
