The power outage that was scheduled for this weekend HAS BEEN CANCELLED by the TSRB building management and contractors due to logistical reasons. The power outage will be rescheduled for later this month. In addition, the electrical contractors have found a way to do their work WITHOUT affecting the power in the CoC part of the TSRB MDF Data Center. This means that we will not have a power outage when the work occurs. However, we will notify you when the work occurs so that you are aware of the event...and we will be closely following the developments for this event to ensure that it will not affect CoC servers.

CoC's TSRB MDF Data Center will be affected by a scheduled power outage this weekend, due to power-related construction in that area. The power outage is scheduled to begin on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at 7:00 AM and to end at 5:00 PM the same afternoon. TSO will begin shutting down affected CoC research servers on Friday at 6:00 PM and plans to begin powering on systems as soon as the power is restored on Saturday. Should the electrical work be extended into the evening or night, TSO will power on the servers on Sunday morning, October 12. During this power outage, affected servers, their services, and their network-served file systems will be unavailable.
