Some GT email addresses were unreachable.

On Thursday, May 14, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 9:50 PM


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
An automated OIT process incorrectly deleted some active email account aliases.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
No CoC email addresses were affected.  However, any users attempting to send email to the affected addresses during the outage would have received a bounce message.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Any messages for which a bounce message was received will need to be resent.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes, OIT's ECC team identified and corrected the problem.
