WHAT’S HAPPENING?

A change to the VLAN definitions for OutLAN caused networking issues for some desktops and servers.

Affected IP addresses:
143.215.128.0/24
143.215.129.0/24
143.215.131.0/24

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Changes were made at 8:30am, 7/29/19.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

In preparation for the move to Coda, the VLAN numbers associated with the OutLAN networks were changed to not conflict with existing VLANs in Coda. The definitions were changed the morning of 7/29/19, but certain desktops and servers did not recover from the change.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Users with desktops or servers on OutLAN

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

Users with desktops can attempt to disconnect and reconnect their network cables. If connectivity is not restored, please contact the Help Desk.
