On Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at 4:00 PM, the server newton.cc.gatech.edu went down. This affects those Animation users who had their home directories on newton. The problem appears to be a RAID controller problem. Replacement parts have been ordered, and we expect to have the server back up on Wednesday, May 28.

UPDATE (May 28, 2008):
The server, newton.cc.gatech.edu, continues to be down for repairs but the research file systems have been relocated to another group server, heisenberg.cc.gatech.edu, and are now available for use. The file systems are:
