In an ongoing effort to modernize the CCB Data Center, TSO will relocate several general access and research-related file servers within the CCB Data Center on Friday, October 31, 2008, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This will allow TSO to retire older data center rack equipment and replace it with modern power management and server racks.

The following systems will be unavailable during relocation:

- curry.cc.gatech.edu (BORG research group server)
- himalaya.cc.gatech.edu (Database research group server)
- jazz.cc.gatech.edu (Software Engineering research group server)
- jetson.cc.gatech.edu (Wearables research group server)
- jupiter.cc.gatech.edu (CERCS research group server)
- know.cc.gatech.edu (Aristotle research group server)
- sloth.cc.gatech.edu (Wearables research group server)
- stream1.cc.gatech.edu (Networking research group server)
- cleon.cc.gatech.edu (General Access UNIX server)
- messena.cc.gatech.edu (General Access SQL server)
- steffani.cc.gatech.edu (General Access CVS serverm, a.k.a cvs.cc.gatech.edu)

The relocation of these servers will affect users of the listed research groups as well as general access CVS and SQL server users. The following NFS file systems served from these servers will be unavailable during the relocation:
