WHAT’S HAPPENING?
OIT is going to upgrade the Cisco code on the switches within the data closets throughout the Klaus Academic Computing Building (KACB).     

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Thursday, September 29th, 2022 from 5am-6:30am.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
OIT is applying software upgrades for security and feature updates. The code has already been tested and deployed in other buildings on campus.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Networking throughout KACB will be intermittently available as each switch is upgraded and rebooted. Each switch will be down for about 15-20 minutes during the code upgrade.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required. If your computer does not recover following the maintenance, try disconnecting from networking briefly and reconnecting. If this does not resolve the issue, please reach out to the Help Desk.
