Update: the files provided by Dell would not update the BIOS (subsequently, a ticket was opened with Dell). The system was returned to a working state and was again providing services at 6:45 PM.

On April 10, 2008, at 5:00 PM, we will be updating the firmware and installing diagnostic software on helsinki.cc.gatech.edu. The system will have to be placed in single-user state for the updates and will be unavailable during this maintenance period. The updates are expected to be completed by 6:00 PM.
