Solaris operating system patches did not apply cleanly to the general-purpose research server gaia4.cc.gatech.edu during the maintenance window on Friday, March 20, 2009 (http://support.cc.gatech.edu/utilities/alerts/relocation-of-selected-ccb-research-servers), and the system kernel will not boot. This system will remain down until further notice. Users should not be affected as the other three general-purpose research servers -- gaia.cc.gatech.edu, gaia2.cc.gatech.edu, and gaia3.cc.gatech.edu -- remain available for use.
