As part of the response to the July 8 CERT Security Alert, OIT will be upgrading the code on the CC firewall blades. The first module will be upgraded at 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2008. This upgrade will result in the 130.207.7.x subnet being unavailable. The list of affected servers, important services, and filesystems are shown below. Email for CC email accounts will be queued and delivered once the upgrade is complete. This upgrade is expected to be completed by 6:00 PM, July 24. The remaining firewall upgrades will be announced at a later date.
