On Wednesday, July 23, 2008, starting at 10:00 AM, TSO will upgrade the DNS server solaria.cc.gatech.edu (130.207.7.245) to new hardware. This upgrade is expected to be completed by 1:00 PM, July 23. During this maintenance period, DNS services on solaria will be unavailable. TSO hosts are configured to fail over to zeon.cc.gatech.edu (130.207.9.13) for DNS services, which will be operational during this maintenance period, so users should not notice any service degradation. No users should be affected unless they are pointed only to solaria for DNS services. Any services which are pointed only to solaria should also be set to point to zeon for DNS.
