Beginning at approximately 8:00 AM, November 25, 2012.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
A disk drive failed in the RAID set on coffeetalk.cc.gatech.edu.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty and students attempting to use the following services.

Affected services:
Research PHP/MYSQL services on www-dev.research.cc.gatech.edu
Research user anonymous FTP access
Research user SVN source code control
Research user TRAC project management


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
No.  TSO expects to have the affected services restored to normal operations during the morning of Monday, November 26, 2012.
