TSO will apply updates to its email aliases file.
 

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
At 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.
 

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The Exchange system that previously housed CoC Exchange mailboxes is being retired on February 1, 2016.  TSO will update the aliases file to replace references to the old Exchange system with current destinations.  Although the College's MTA was moved to OIT (see https://support.cc.gatech.edu/alerts/college-mta-migration for details), some systems still reference our aliases file.  Exchange has been forwarding messages it receives out but will stop once it's retired, so this maintenance should prevent bounced email messages after the retirement.
 

WHO IS AFFECTED?
No users should be affected.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required, but should anyone notice bounces or other unexpected email behavior following the maintenance window, please contact the TSO Help Desk.
