Dept.vpn.gatech.edu AnyConnect VPN clients will be updated. The following servers will be affected:
dept.vpn.gatech.edu
gtrc.vpn.gatech.edu
sbsg.vpn.gatech.edu
rbi.vpn.gatech.edu
pace.vpn.gatech.edu
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Beginning on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 8:00 PM until Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 6:00 AM.
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
OIT will perform a routine software update of the campus VPN client for the above-listed servers to address bugs and security issues.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty, staff, and students using dept.vpn.gatech.edu. After the maintenance period, the client should automatically update on users' machines upon connecting to the VPN.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Affected users should allow the update.
