CCAD domain DNS server and Domain Controller gford.cc.gatech.edu will be powered off.  Its IP address will be transferred to hobart.cc.gatech.edu for continued DNS service.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To retire and replace outdated hardware and software.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
Windows users who login to their computer using CC account credentials rather than GT account credentials.  Users of Linux or Mac computers using the CC DNS servers as primary DNS.  However, there should be zero impact, since all of these computers should have multiple DNS servers configured.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.
